The very best reason to use Hand-Made Soap is the ingredients. Our handmade soaps are made with vegetable oils, saturated oils and butters that are rich in antioxidants, vitamins and nutrients that are essential to healthy skin.
Everyone wants healthy skin and switching to daily use of handmade soap is the best place to start. We make our soaps using the hot process method and what that allows us to do is to keep back ingredients like Argan Oil, Shea and Cocoa Butter until the saponification of oils has completed; meaning the full benefit of these wonderful Oils and Butters are present in each and every bar of soap. This gives us a true moisturising soap that is actually good for the skin.
IT’S REAL SOAP
The mass produced commercial product that you buy from the supermarket is commonly called soap but it’s anything but, most are just chemical cocktails made of detergents and downright disturbing synthetic ingredients that dehydrate and age skin, cause allergic reactions in quite a lot of people and generally strip your skin of moisture. Handmade Hot Process soap is so much better for your skin, it cleanses and at the same time leaves your skin hydrated rather than stripped of natural oils and moisture.
GLYCERIN
Glycerin isn’t added to a handmade soap recipe – it’s created during the soap making process! Glycerin is a precious emollient that softens and maintains water balance by attracting moisture to your skin. It is proven to be so beneficial to your skin that it is extracted from commercial ‘soap’ (yes they remove it because it is so valuable) then they sell it back to you in the form of expensive body butters, moisturizer and face creams. Handmade soap retains all of its natural glycerin and produces a rich and luxurious lather that is unparalleled to any other.
NO HARM
When you buy our hand made soap you can be certain that no humans were harmed, impoverished or subjected to sweat shop working conditions in the process. We don’t test on animals or buy ingredients that are tested on animals. We personally test every batch of soap on ourselves and we have every confidence in all our products. We don’t use palm oil, we know that you can get sustainable palm oil but we choose not to use it. All the fragrance oils used are Phthalate-Free & Nitro Musk Free and almost all are manufactured in Australia.
